Et al: Our debut performance
We’ll, we’ve taken their advice!
The group we put together is called Et al, and we had our debut performance on Wednesday night at the Tel Aviv Folk Club.
NOW WE’RE ALL RICH AND WON’T EVER NEED TO WORK AGAIN…EVER!!! (Yeah, right!
)
The others in the group (and my good friends) are (from right to left, above) Rahel Jaskow (of Day of Rest fame), Dvir Cafri (previously of Gospel Jazz), myself, and John Worley. I’ll write more about this later, but for now, please pop over to YouTube to see the videos! You can find them at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqyWhUc3uMI, and at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1FO8OARO4M.

You were all so wonderful and special at the premier of et Al. I can’t wait for more. You look terrific (something about the hair and the outfit?) that’s the Joanna I remember from back then. Wishing you continued success and I would be proud to have you headlining at the Ein Gedi Folk Festival March 26-28. It starts on Thursday so that the observant musicians in the group could perform and it’s a quick hour’s drive from Jerusalem in the magical wilderness of the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea. What an amazing setting for your music!
Well done Joanna! Congrats on the new group and the very best of luck. We’ll see you all on the 5th! Much love,
Marcie
Thank you Marcie, I’m so proud to be performing the same night and venue with you! It’s going to be a great night. Can’t wait!
Harold,
Thank you! I’ll talk with the group and see what we can do. I know I’d love to perform there. I’ll have to see about my studies too–can’t miss classes, you know how it is.
