Poetry
This is your link to the poetry category. From time to time I get really brave and post a piece or two there. For me, it’s more difficult to post my poetry to my blog than a regular post–regular posts are just writing, and there’s no expectation of artestry there. But when something gets labeled as poetry, I immediately get this feeling of being evaluated. Evaluated by myself and by others.
Screw it! It’s expression. Like I wrote in Where the broom doesn’t reach, things will out!
Okay, let’s just call it prose poetry and maybe that’ll remove some of the restrictions. It’s actually a fantasy of mine to participate in a poetry slam one day. Who knows……????? I’ve done stranger things! 
I put my poetry out there for you in the pure spirit of It’s about starting over and it’s purpose. Most of all, I hope that the things I write here, as with my music, will speak to you in one way or another and let you know that whatever it is you’re feeling, experiencing, others feel and experience it too, all of it. You’re not alone.
